FOUNTAIN VALLEY
Residents are eligible to run for the seven available seats on the board of the newly consolidated Municipal Water District of Orange County.
Candidates have until Aug. 11 to file at the Orange County Registrar of Voters office, 1300 S. Grand Ave., Building C, Santa Ana.
Fountain Valley is part of Division III, which also includes the cities of Cypress, Los Alamitos, La Palma, Stanton, Seal Beach and Midway City. Directors for the consolidated board will be elected in November.
