NEWPORT BEACH
The city will try to slow down drivers on Santiago Drive and Holiday Road between Irvine and Tustin avenues.
Because there have been traffic problems in the area, the City Council last week approved plans to install landscaped islands.
The council also decided to hire an architect to help in the final designs. The project is estimated at $200,000.
