Overdevelopment
* Helloooo! Does anyone else see a connection between the problems of pollution in our coastal waters and the overuse of electricity, causing rolling brownouts, with the real fact of overdevelopment and the subsequent overpopulation of our California coast? These Aug. 4 articles highlight just a couple of the problems that overcrowding creates with infrastructure as well as the quality of life.
When are we going to put a halt to continuing to allow more and more tracts of homes and shopping malls to decimate the landscape of California?

With all the news I’ve been reading lately about power outages and shortages, I wonder what would happen if we all had electric cars, returned home from work at 5 p.m. and plugged them in to recharge for the next day.
