THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

ANAHEIM

* Garza Avenue: An illegally parked vehicle was reported in the 10800 block at 4:53 a.m. Tuesday.

BREA

* Brea Mall: Petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 5:21 p.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* El Costa Circle: Police were called out to a disturbance in the 8000 block at 10:12 p.m. Sunday.

* Euclid Avenue: Residents reported people shooting paint balls in the 17000 block at 10:29 a.m. Friday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Traylor Way: Police arrested a Garden Grove man on suspicion of possessing ingredients to manufacture methamphetamine in the 10100 block at 8:20 p.m. Friday. Police received a report from police in Texas that a package addressed to the subject in Garden Grove contained a large amount of pseudoephedrine tablets. Police had the package delivered and then arrested the suspect. Upon searching the residence, officers found three additional boxes of the tablets.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Riverview Crescent: Police responded to a vehicle theft in progress in the 1600 block at 1:01 p.m. Friday.

* Newman Avenue: Police responded to a reported suicide in the 7000 block at 7:08 p.m. Friday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Moulton Parkway: Loud music was reported in the 26000 block at 10:37 p.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Port Royal Way: A prowler was reported in the 29400 block at 12:59 a.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA WOODS

* Via Mariposa: An annoying phone call was reported in the 2200 block at 7:18 a.m. Monday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Howard Avenue: A report of grand theft in the 3600 block at 3:39 p.m. Friday. A tenant reported that $750 in cash had been stolen from a rent drop box at her apartment building.

MISSION VIEJO

* Avery Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the 26200 block at 10:19 p.m. Friday.

* Marguerite Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the 24000 block at 9:53 p.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* Athens Avenue: A group of teens in the street in front of a house were causing a disturbance at 1:36 p.m. Sunday.

RANCHO SANTA

MARGARITA

* Antonio Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the 22400 block at 1:43 p.m. Thursday.

* High Country Drive: A loud party was reported in the 21300 block at 10:44 p.m. Saturday.

SEAL BEACH

* Old Ranch Parkway: A stolen car was reported in the Spaghettini’s restaurant parking lot at 8:25 p.m. Saturday.

* Pacific Coast Highway at 10th Street: Officers found a stolen Jeep Wrangler, reported missing Friday, with damage and missing property at 9:26 a.m. Saturday.

STANTON

* Oaks Drive: A burglary was reported in the 10300 block at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* Running Branch Way: A burglary was reported in the 1900 block at 10:30 p.m. Monday.

VILLA PARK

* Taft Avenue: Petty theft was reported in the 18000 block at 10:38 a.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Malcolm Lane: Vandalism was reported in the 16600 block at 1:09 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fullerton, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Habra, La Palma, Newport Beach, Orange, Santa Ana and Westminster.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
