Nearly 1,200 rowers are expected to compete in this year’s Catalina Channel Crossing International Outrigger race Sept. 9-10.
Female competitors will row from Newport Harbor to Desconso Beach in Catalina on Sept. 9. The men’s race will be from Catalina to the Newport Dunes the following day.
