The American Red Cross will hold an adult cardiopulmonary respiration and first-aid class from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Emergency Ambulance Service building at 3200 E. Birch St.
The seven-hour course teaches residents how to respond to sudden illness, injuries and cardiac emergencies in adults. The class costs $45. For more information or to register, call (714) 481-5355.
