He Got the Win but Lost Cover Spot

On Tuesday, Ramon Ortiz pitched the best game the Angels have had all year (two hits, complete game) against a very formidable opponent [Pedro Martinez of the Boston Red Sox]. He even stated that it was the “greatest game of his life.”
So what does the L.A. Times do for their front-page picture? They put a picture of the “losing” pitcher! Where is the logic in that?
