As expected, Minnesota’s Betty Lennox was the runaway winner of the WNBA’s rookie-of-the-year award, the league announced Friday.
The 5-foot-8 guard from Louisiana Tech received 59 of 62 media votes.
Lennox averaged 16.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.7 steals a game.
