Brentwood Merging With Eclipse Music Group

Brentwood Communications Inc. of Newbury Park and Eclipse Music Group Inc. of Valley Cottage, N.Y., plan to combine their operations to create a new music and video/DVD group known as BCI Eclipse.
“The initial phase consolidated key sales and marketing activities, as well as the cross-marketing of our extensive collections of music and video/DVD properties,” said David Catlin, owner of Brentwood. He said the company is also trying to trim costs and improve its back-office operations.
Brentwood Communications is a producer and distributor of music CDs and video/DVDs. It is also active in television production and owns more than 200 programs that are broadcast worldwide.
