LA PALMA
The City Council approved the installation of a stop sign near Miller Elementary School during a recent meeting.
The sign will be placed at the corner of San Simeon Drive and Westra Lane. No major accidents have been reported in the area in the last three years, according to Ismile Noorbaksh, the city’s director of public works, but he said the sign will help ensure the safety of children walking near the school.
