The Old Towne Steering Committee, which met for the first time Wednesday night, is distributing surveys throughout the community to find out what Yorba Linda residents want to see in a renovated downtown area.
The 30-member committee, made up of residents, business owners and city officials, discussed ways to distribute and collect the forms.
The steering committee was formed as an advisory group to help consultants get ideas for how to spruce up the Old Towne area.
