George Lopez, a Los Angeles-born comic with “The Tonight Show” and more than 60 other TV appearances to his credit, is known for a high-energy act in which he delivers an insightful perspective of life as a Latino. “I see people at the store in a dilemma over the strength of their sun block,” he says. “They want a tan, but they don’t want to get too dark, or they won’t get any help at Nordstrom.”
