Three-foot-tall marionettes, created by dozens of local 10- and 11-year-olds in the Art Share and L.A. City Human Relations Commission Puppetry Program, will be on exhibit Saturday and Sunday at the Children’s Museum of Los Angeles as part of its closing weekend celebration.
The puppets were created under the instruction of Emmy Award-winning puppeteer Michael Earl (formerly Mr. Snuffleupagas on “Sesame Street”), who will perform a puppet show at the museum on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The museum is at 310 N. Main St.; hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Information: (213) 687-8800.
