Accusation of Rape

Thank you for the article by Tracy Wilson about the aftermath of Alejandro Castaneda’s nightmare.

The power of a female to inflict so much damage on this young man’s college years (and not even have to have others aware of her name) is frightening.

Rape is horrible.

However, is it rape if a woman regrets her sexual encounter because she was under the influence of alcohol at the time?

Is it rape if she is just plain sorry it happened?

Are we females truly such a weak sex that we are not sure it’s rape until it’s over and we have had a day or two to think about it?

Yes, males need to be in control of their sexual power, but what about females? Why is it OK for us to lead a male with our dress, behavior and actions and then say, “I really didn’t want it, I was drunk.”

Perhaps women’s studies professors should teach females real equality. It is not just about equal pay; it is about equal responsibility for your irresponsible actions.

So Jane Doe No. 1 goes into anonymity and Castaneda loses his opportunity for a four-year degree from a respected university because of his irresponsible behavior.

Score another point for misguided feminism.
