Better Use for Bus Money
* Instead of spending $50 million on more school buses and “soot-capturing devices” (Nov. 29), why not take L.A.’s share of that money, add it to the existing budget for busing and build schools in the areas that are overcrowded?
Kids wouldn’t have to endure those long bus rides, their parents could better participate in their kids’ education, the freeways would be less congested and the air would be cleaner. Is this too logical?
