PLAYOFF PICTURE

POSSIBILITIES THROUGH WEEK 15

AFC EAST

* MIAMI clinches a playoff berth with a win or tie (vs. Tampa Bay) or with an Indianapolis loss or tie (vs. Buffalo).

* NEW YORK JETS clinch a playoff berth with a win (vs. Oakland) and with a Pittsburgh loss or tie (vs. New York Giants).

AFC CENTRAL

* TENNESSEE clinches a playoff berth with a win or tie (vs. Cincinnati) or if the Indianapolis-Buffalo game ends in a tie.

* BALTIMORE clinches a playoff berth with a win (vs. San Diego).

AFC WEST

* OAKLAND clinches a playoff berth with a win or tie (vs. New York Jets) or with both a Pittsburgh loss or tie (vs. New York Giants) and an Indianapolis-Buffalo tie. Oakland also clinches a playoff berth with a loss (vs. New York Jets) and all of the following: a Pittsburgh loss or tie (vs. New York Giants), a Buffalo loss (vs. Indianapolis), a Baltimore win (vs. San Diego) and a Tennessee win or tie (vs. Cincinnati).

* DENVER clinches a playoff berth with a win (vs. Seattle) and a Buffalo loss or tie (vs. Indianapolis).

NFC EAST

* NEW YORK GIANTS clinch a playoff berth with a win (vs. Pittsburgh) and a loss by either New Orleans (vs. San Francisco) or St. Louis (vs. Minnesota). The Giants win the NFC East with a win (vs. Pittsburgh) and a Philadelphia loss (vs. Cleveland).

* PHILADELPHIA clinches a playoff berth with a win (vs. Cleveland) or with losses by Tampa Bay (vs. Miami), New Orleans (vs. San Francisco) and St. Louis (vs. Minnesota), and with losses or ties by Green Bay (vs. Detroit) and Washington (vs. Dallas).

NFC CENTRAL

* MINNESOTA has clinched a playoff berth. If Minnesota wins (vs. St. Louis), it wins the NFC Central and clinches home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. If Minnesota ties (vs. St. Louis), it wins the NFC Central and clinch a first-round playoff bye, and if New York Giants lose as well (vs. Pittsburgh), Vikings clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. If Minnesota loses (vs. St. Louis), it still wins the NFC Central with a Tampa Bay loss or tie (vs. Miami).

NFC WEST

* No teams can clinch a playoff berth in Week 15.

OFFICIALLY ELIMINATED FROM PLAYOFF CONTENTION

* Arizona, Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dallas, Jacksonville, Kansas City, New England, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.
