Minnesota broke a 49-year-old NFL record with its 30th consecutive 300-yard game. The previous record was set by the Los Angeles Rams from 1949-51. . . . Tennessee’s Derrick Mason set an NFL season record for all-purpose yardage. Mason had 102 yards, giving him 2,578 and moving him past Lionel James, who had 2,535 for San Diego in 1985. . . . Green Bay’s Brett Favre’s three touchdown passes moved him past Dan Fouts into ninth place on the all-time list at 255. . . . New England’s Lee Johnson became the NFL’s career leader with 1,159 punts, breaking Dave Jennings’ record of 1,154. Curiously, Johnson had to wait to set the record after fumbling the snap on his third punt attempt of the game. . . . Buffalo’s Eric Moulds increased his season reception total to 90, tying the franchise record set by Andre Reed in 1994.
