Scholarships for International Study
The Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise is accepting applications for its annual study abroad scholarship program.
The $25,000 Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship pays for one academic year of full-time study in a country of a student’s choice.
Current college juniors and seniors as well as graduate students who have permanent residence in the Conejo Valley are eligible to apply. Candidates must attend a U.S. university, be in high academic standing and be fluent in a foreign language.
Former recipients of the ambassadorial scholarship from other Rotary Clubs include Paul Volcker, former chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, and film critic Roger Ebert.
