HUNTINGTON BEACH

Fifteen students from Huntington Beach High School and two from Fountain Valley High School will “shadow” workplace mentors at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort for Job Shadow Day today. The exercise, part of a nationwide program, will give students a close-up look at how school relates to the workplace. Students will start their day at 8:30 a.m., have lunch with hotel managers, and receive a tour of the hotel, which is at 21100 Pacific Coast Highway. Information: (714) 845-8411.
