* LOYOLA MARYMOUNT (2-17, 0-6) at PORTLAND (7-12, 1-5), 7, KXLU-FM (88.9)--This is the Lions’ best chance for victory not only in conference play but against a Division I opponent this season. The Pilots’ only West Coast Conference victory came three weeks ago, and they have lost four consecutive games since. Although there are four weeks left in the regular season, the winner of this will be in good position to stay out of the cellar and thus avoid playing the top-seeded team in the opening round of the conference tournament.
