STANTON
The City Council on Tuesday will consider whether to support the proposed El Toro airport at the former Marine base. The council will also consider whether to oppose Measure F, an initiative on the March 7 ballot that would require a countywide vote before planning could proceed for airport projects, hazardous-waste landfills and large jails within a half-mile of homes. The council meets at 6:30 p.m. in chambers, 7800 Katella Ave.
