Orange County’s first red-light traffic enforcement camera goes into operation at Westminster Avenue and Brookhurst Street on Monday. Until March 13, drivers caught running red lights at the intersection will receive warnings in the mail. After that, violators will receive $271 tickets. The new ticketing program is on a six-month trial run. If it succeeds, city officials say they will install cameras at nine other intersections. Information: (714) 741-5190.
