The down-home feel of a community get-together can be found Saturday at a Measure F picnic.
Of course, this one features public officials, including state Sen. Bill Morrow (R-Oceanside), Assemblywoman Patricia Bates (R-Laguna Niguel), Orange County Supervisor Tom Wilson, Councilwoman Linda Lindholm and Sheila Benecke, president of the Capistrano Unified School District board.
A variety of activities are planned for children. Each family should pack their own picnic lunch.
The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Crown Valley Highlands Community Park, 23372 Niguel Road.
