The vacant property on the back side of Asian Village was returned to commercial zoning status at Tuesday’s City Council meeting. After Little Saigon developer Frank Jao scrapped his plans for a seniors’ apartment complex last month, council members voted to eliminate the residential zoning they had approved earlier. The property is next to Sinclair Avenue off Bolsa Avenue.
