Three Ocean View High School Seahawks have recently become Eagle Scouts.

Senior Gary Ernst, of Huntington Beach Troop 134, designed and built bookcases for Huntington Christian School for his Eagle service project. He also organized a carwash to raise the money to buy supplies for the project.

Senior Hamilton Pham achieved the same honor in Troop 274 repainting buildings in the California Pre-School and Kindergarten in Westminster.

Sophomore Peter Chin became an Eagle Scout in Troop 117. He planted trees along Harbor Boulevard and distributed brochures promoting tree planting and care.
