Santa Margarita’s Rowell Signs With Sacramento State

Defender Stacey Rowell of Santa Margarita has signed to play soccer at Sacramento State, her father, Joe Rowell, said.

A brother, sophomore Jason Rowell, is a linebacker on the Sacramento State football team.

The Orange County chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame has announced its list of 1999 scholar athletes. The following players will be recognized at a banquet March 6 for maintaining a grade-point average of 3.3 or better:
