This week’s schedule--Host Houston Wednesday; host Orlando Friday and Saturday.

The Ice Dogs have won eight of nine games to move into third place in the IHL’s Western Conference, three points behind second-place Manitoba. . . . Goalie Nikolai Khabibulin continues to toy with minor league talent. He has an 8-3 record with a 1.64 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage. . . . Ice Dog defenseman Mike Matteucci didn’t win any friends Sunday against Kansas City. He took out Kansas City center Colin Chaulk, which Blade players said was deliberate. . . . The Ice Dogs’ average attendance of 485 is the lowest in the IHL.
