The public is invited to sample 50 decorative gelatin and low-fat salad dishes on Saturday at Roosevelt Elementary School, 501 E. Halladay St. The dishes are being prepared by women from three Santa Ana apartment buildings who have been participating in nutrition classes sponsored by Latino Health Access. The program is designed to promote healthy eating in Latinos who, according to program officials, are at a higher risk of diabetes and heart disease than the general public.
