Donald Brashear of the Vancouver Canucks, slashed in the head Monday night by Marty McSorley of the Boston Bruins, has headaches that won’t quit and a swollen head.

“It’s the same every day,” Brashear told the Vancouver Sun. “It hurts when I talk on the phone.”

McSorley was suspended for the rest of the season and the playoffs--and perhaps longer.
