The City Council denied two claims against the city at Monday’s council meeting. Resident Lena Torres filed a bodily injury claim alleging she tripped over a raised section of a sidewalk on Euclid Avenue on or about May 22.
A $100,000 claim filed by Jeffrey Hudelson alleging bodily and emotional injuries when he was arrested by the La Habra Police Department Oct. 8, 1999, was denied. Hudelson was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.
