THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* West Birch Street: Lost property was reported in the 100 block at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday.

* East Birch Street: A petty theft was reported in the 1700 block at 5:26 p.m. Wednesday.

* North Brea Boulevard at West Central Avenue: A noninjury traffic accident was reported at 6:01 p.m. Wednesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street: Someone reported graffiti on Ebisu Bookstore in the 18900 block at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday.

* Harbor Boulevard and Scenic Avenue: A woman was arrested on charges of burglary, forgery and possession of a controlled substance at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday.

* Mt. Wynne: A car was reported stolen in the 17300 block at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday.

FULLERTON

* South Harbor Boulevard: A burglar alarm went off in the 1100 block at 2:26 a.m. Wednesday.

* North Harbor Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 300 block at 2:06 p.m. Tuesday.

* South Harbor Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 1300 block at 8:29 p.m. Tuesday.

IRVINE

* Carlson Avenue and Michelson Drive: Police reported a grand theft at 2:52 p.m. Monday. Electrical copper wire valued at $2,600 was allegedly stolen from an unsecured electrical room on a job site with 24-hour security.

* Deerfield Avenue: Police reported a petty theft at 8:24 a.m. Monday. A student allegedly stole a calculator from another student.

LA HABRA

* Beach Boulevard and Summershade Drive: A hit-and-run accident was reported at 12:13 a.m. Tuesday.

* East Brookdale Avenue: An alarm went off in the 2100 block at 4:16 a.m. Monday.

* South Cedarwood Drive: A missing adult was reported in the 800 block at 8:04 a.m. Monday.

PLACENTIA

* Baker Street: A stolen vehicle was reported in the 400 block at 11:39 a.m. Wednesday.

* East Chapman Avenue: A forgery was reported in the 300 block at 9:39 a.m. Wednesday.

* Glenn Circle: A stolen vehicle was reported in the 1500 block at 11:24 p.m. Wednesday.

YORBA LINDA

* Avenue del Este: A missing person was reported in the 4400 block at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday.

* Pepper Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 4100 block at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday.

* Via Serrano: A grand theft was reported in the 18000 block at 5:41 p.m. Wednesday.

* Windy Circle: A petty theft was reported in the 4900 block at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Thursday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster.
