Eastern Washington 78, Cal State Northridge 77--Will Levy, a 47% free-throw shooter, made a foul shot with four seconds to play to give Eastern Washington the Big Sky Conference victory at Cheney, Wash.

Northridge (10-5, 2-2) made only 17 of 33 free throws, while Eastern Washington (6-7, 3-0) made 16 of 23.

Levy was fouled by Northridge guard Marco McCain during a scramble for a rebound of a missed Eastern Washington shot. The Eagles tried to slip hot-shooting Aaron Olson to the line, but Northridge protested and Levy took the shots.

The senior forward missed the first, but after a Northridge timeout made the second.

Marcus Carr got off a running shot from 35 feet with one second to play that was put back by Jeff Parris after the buzzer.

Northridge was outrebounded, 46-30, a similar disparity to Thursday’s loss at Portland State, when the Matadors were beaten on the boards, 48-31.
