E-Mailing From France

Share

During a recent trip to France, I discovered that the French postal system has set up computers in post offices throughout the country that provide Internet connections. The cost was 50 francs (about $8) for the first hour, which includes an access card and an e-mail account. Access is available only during business hours, and terminals are primarily at the larger post offices. But it came in handy because we were moving from town to town. Going to my own e-mail service was too time-consuming, so I sent my assigned Cyberposte e-mail address just to the few people I needed to contact. For more information (in French) go to https://www.cyberposte.com.
