LAGUNA HILLS
Supervisor Tom Wilson said he hopes his urban-runoff class on Thursday is a wake-up call to South County’s elected officials.
The class, designed to educate public officials about urban runoff, will focus on how contaminated water pollutes beaches and downstream communities, Wilson sad.
In addition, the class will cover how to combat the problem, including managing cleanup and educating the public.
Officials will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the Automobile Club of Southern California, 25181 Paseo de Alicia, Laguna Hills.
