* OREGON STATE (7-10, 3-2) at No. 10 UCLA (11-4, 5-0), Pauley Pavilion, 7--The Bruins’ runaway start to the Pacific 10 Conference season resumes tonight. With their disappointing early losses well behind them, the Bruins haven’t had a close game yet. Their 79-68 victory at 16th-ranked Arizona last Thursday marks their smallest Pac-10 margin of victory. Maylana Martin, Erica Gomez, Carly Funicello and LaCresha Flanigan have returned from injuries and have been together on the practice court for nearly three weeks now. But key sub Takiyah Jackson aggravated a left knee injury at Arizona and is listed as doubtful for tonight. Oregon State is led by Sissel Pierce, a 6-4 senior center who leads the Pac-10 in blocks with 2.9 a game.

* OREGON (13-4, 4-1) at USC (7-8, 2-3), Sports Arena, 7--The Trojans have lost three in a row. Oregon, the defending Pac-10 co-champion with UCLA, apparently has recovered from its 44-point turnaround loss to Stanford Jan. 15. The Ducks registered one-sided victories against the Washington schools last week, with rising sophomore star Shaquala Williams scoring 20 in each game. She is third in the conference in scoring (17.5) and assists (4.24).
