Shades of Jodeci and Michael Jackson are obvious in Dru Hill member Sisqo’s R&B; approach. With his urban audience firmly in pocket, Sisqo is clearly poised to try to become pop music’s next big thing. On this debut solo album, he makes all the right moves, particularly on the incendiary “Got to Get It.” The subject matter is fairly routine (think sex and desire), but 22-year-old Sisqo’s youthful fervor and imagination make him worth attention.
