Holiday Weekend
Tuesday is Independence Day, and the following will be closed in observance of the holiday:
* Closed: All government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries and many businesses. MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules and Metrolink trains will be out of service.
* Trash: Los Angeles city residents whose trash collection day falls on Tuesday will have their trash collected Wednesday.
