The Fire Department has hired two additional firefighters.
The appointments help fill gaps within the small organization of 37 firefighters. The recruitment took place in March with 100 applicants taking a written test.
The top 30 applicants who passed the test had to complete a physical agility test. Finally, the remaining applicants were given an oral board examination.
