Share

National Catholic Family Conference 2000 will be held July 29-30 at the Long Beach Convention Center. The event, focusing on topics relating to the family, will feature panels for teens and children.

“The conference offers families an opportunity to learn more about Catholicism and how to practice it in their daily lives,” said event spokesman Jim Graves. There will be opportunities for fellowship with Catholic families from across the nation, he said.

Among speakers for the conference is Tim Staples of Orange County, a former Baptist youth minister and convert to Catholicism who has devoted his career to presenting and defending the Catholic faith he once rejected.
