Rampage Sends Waves to Second Consecutive Loss
The Orange County Waves gave up three consecutive goals and lost to the Milwaukee Rampage, 3-1, in an A-League game Saturday at Milwaukee.
The Rampage scored twice in the first half on goals by Hrvoje Galovic, off an assist by Steve Bernal, and Brian Loftin, off an assist from Yuri Lavrinenko.
Chris Jahr gave Milwaukee a 3-0 lead in the second half with a goal in the 62nd minute. Bernal had his second assist on the play.
The Waves (9-10-1), who lost their second straight, scored in the 66th minute when Jose Vasquez slipped a shot past Rampage goalkeeper Dan Popik. Steve Patterson had an assist on the goal.
The Waves are tied with El Paso for second and trail Pacific Division-leading San Diego by five points.
