UC Irvine Schedule Released

The UC Irvine men’s basketball schedule, which was released Monday, includes nonconference home games against California and San Diego and games at UCLA and Washington.

Irvine will also play a home game against Belmont, a 3,000-student independent from Nashville playing its second season at Division I, and a home-and-home series with UC Riverside, which is moving up from Division II. Riverside will be eligible to compete in the Big West in 2001-2002.

The Anteaters host Howard, which was 1-27 last season, in their season opener Nov. 17.
