Slumping Waves Visit Bay Area

The Waves will play at the Bay Area Seals at 7:30 tonight.

The Waves (9-10-1), who lost on the road last weekend to Minnesota and Milwaukee, have dropped out of first place and into a tie for third with El Paso in the A-League’s Pacific Division. Bay Area (8-8-2) is fourth in the Pacific with 36 points.

Former Corona del Mar standout Jason Boyce continues to lead the Waves in scoring with 25 points (nine goals, seven assists). Boyce is tied for third in A-League scoring.

The Waves announced they will play Pumas Unam, a Mexican first division team, at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bakersfield College.
