3 Men Sought in Robbery of Denny’s Restaurant
Authorities are searching for three men who robbed a Denny’s restaurant Thursday night.
The trio walked into the Denny’s in the 29100 block of Canwood Street at about 10 p.m. Two men displayed handguns and one ordered an employee to open the cash register, said sheriff’s Sgt. Martin Dailey.
The men took about $200 and fled, authorities said. No one was injured, and none of the customers was robbed.
“It was a very low-key robbery,” Dailey said. “I don’t know if the customers knew it was happening.”
The robbers were wearing hooded sweatshirts and sunglasses and were described as about 18 years old.
