THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports over the weekend:

ANAHEIM

* Katella Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 8900 block at 3:43 a.m. Sunday.

* Lullaby Lane: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 9800 block at 6:33 a.m. Sunday.

COSTA MESA

* Bristol Street: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 300 block at 3:28 a.m. Friday.

* Baker Street: A disturbance was reported in the 1200 block at 12:20 p.m. Thursday.

* Cabrillo Street: A reckless driver was reported in the 400 block at 7:20 p.m. Thursday.

* Newport Boulevard: A disturbance was reported in the 2200 block at 4:50 p.m. Thursday.

* Sharon Lane: Annoying phone calls were reported in the 3100 block at 11:40 p.m. Thursday.

DANA POINT

* Chula Vista Avenue: Gunshots were reported in the 34100 block at 3:33 a.m. Sunday.

FULLERTON

* North Basque Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 300 block at 3:47 p.m. Tuesday.

* Brea Boulevard: An attempted burglary was reported and resulted in an arrest in the 2700 block at 10:51 p.m. Tuesday.

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: A hit-and-run was reported in the 1000 block at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Avenida de la Carlota: A burglary was reported in the 23100 block at 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

* Merienda: Vandalism was reported in the 26600 block at 10:33 a.m. Sunday.

* Luna Bonita: Fraud was reported in the 24800 block at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday.

* Peralta Drive: A burglar alarm went off in the 23300 block at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday.

* Silverleaf Lane: A burglar alarm was reported in the 25000 block at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday.

* Triton Way: A burglar alarm went off in the 22900 block at 7:14 p.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Via Venida: A burglary was reported in the 30300 block Sunday.

* La Paz Road: A burglar alarm went off in the 27900 block at 10:39 p.m. Wednesday.

LA HABRA

* Imperial Highway at Idaho Street: Road rage was reported at the intersection at 12:02 a.m. Wednesday.

* South Beach Boulevard: A bicycle theft was reported in the 1000 block at 6:57 p.m. Tuesday.

* South Idaho Street: A child was found in the 100 block at 6:06 p.m. Tuesday.

* West Imperial Highway: An embezzlement was reported in the 1400 block at 8:26 p.m. Tuesday.

LAKE FOREST

* Canada Road: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 21600 block at 9:25 a.m. Sunday.

* Lake Forest Drive: A drunk driver was reported in the 21400 block at 2:28 a.m. Sunday.

* Larkwood Lane: A prowler was reported in the 24000 block at 4:39 a.m. Thursday.

* Via del Rio: A burglary was reported in the 24500 block at 7:40 a.m. Thursday.

* Via Serpiente: A burglary was reported in the 21500 block at 6:17 a.m. Thursday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Safiro: A hit-and-run on a parked car was reported in the 26900 block at 2:11 a.m. Sunday.

* Via Lara: Gunshots were heard in the 26400 block at 3:16 a.m. Sunday.

* Marguerite Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the 28600 block at 12:16 p.m. Wednesday.

* Chrisanta Drive: A prowler was reported in the 24500 block at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Francisco Drive: Jewelry and other items valued at $3,050 were stolen from an unlocked car in the 2200 block between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 10:40 a.m. Thursday.

* Jamboree Road: Office equipment and tools valued at $5,900 were stolen from a business in the 4300 block between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

* San Miguel Drive: A wallet was stolen in the 2600 block between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Wednesday.

SANTA ANA

* Brentwood Drive: A loud party was reported in the 9800 block at 1:38 a.m. Sunday.

VILLA PARK

* Taft Avenue: A burglar alarm sounded in the 19200 block at 10:05 a.m. Sunday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

ALISO VIEJO

* Capobella: Loud noise was reported in the 8300 block at 12:12 a.m. Thursday.

* Sandcastle: A grand theft was reported in the 100 block at 3:47 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Brea, Buena Park, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Orange, Placentia, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin, Westminster and Yorba Linda.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
