The 50-voice Santa Clarita Master Chorale will perform Friday and Saturday in Valencia. The concert “Bach to Broadway” will feature classical pieces, folk songs, show tunes and spirituals.

Coin Show
Coin Expo/Valley is set for this weekend in Encino. The show will celebrate Independence Day a little early this year, featuring a collection of July 4 coins and medals. A variety of U.S. and international coins will be on display, along with collecting supplies, memorabilia and other collectibles.

Alfresco Music
The Valley Cultural Center’s Concerts in the Park series opens its 25th anniversary season Sunday in Woodland Hills. The Clyde and Mary Lou Porter Community Concert will feature local high school bands. This year’s lineup of free concerts includes performances by Kenny Loggins, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, the Bill Elliot Swing Orchestra, Airto Moreira and Flora Purim. Don’t forget to bring a blanket or a low-back lawn chair.
