Coin Show

Coin Expo/Valley is set for this weekend in Encino. The show will celebrate Independence Day a little early this year, featuring a collection of July 4 coins and medals. Alfresco Music

The Valley Cultural Center’s Concerts in the Park series opens its 25th anniversary season Sunday in Woodland Hills. The Clyde and Mary Lou Porter Community Concert will feature local high school bands. This year’s lineup of free concerts includes performances by Kenny Loggins, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, the Bill Elliot Swing Orchestra, Airto Moreira and Flora Purim. Don’t forget to bring a blanket or a low-back lawn chair.
