HUNTINGTON BEACH
The Police Department has adopted a motto to represent the department’s central mission.
The motto, “Serving With Honor,” was selected last month to symbolize the department’s goal to serve the community with honor, respect, value and compassion, said Lt. Chuck Thomas, a department spokesman.
Squad cars, stationery, the department’s Web site and its three stations will bear the motto.
