Construction is scheduled to begin Monday on the widening of the intersection of Newland Street and Larson Avenue. The $222,000 project includes construction of curbs, sidewalks, storm drain catch basins and the installation of water mains. Construction hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will last through the second week of August. Traffic on Newland Street will be reduced to one lane, and parking will be restricted.
