Regarding the Dodgers’ current hidden-camera TV ads: What were they thinking? I can’t believe that I am the only person who finds the sight of a young man wearing a Dodger jacket frightening an elderly woman into interrupting her meal and moving to another seat disgusting.

We Angel fans always knew that The Times slanted toward the Dodgers in its coverage, but Sunday’s coverage took the cake. The Dodgers could not hold leads of 4-0 and 7-3, not to mention 7-5 with six outs left, and your writers tell us that it was the umpire’s fault? I would expect such writing in a provincial town such as Portland, but a major newspaper owing a defeat to umpire favoritism? Who wrote this article, Rasheed Wallace?
