Citing construction delays, Celebrity Cruises postponed the maiden voyage of its Millennium ship from June 17 to July 1. The 14-day cruise will visit Europe and Russia. Passengers are being offered full refunds plus a free future cruise on any Celebrity ship, a spokeswoman said. Call (800) 722-5960. . . . About 200 of the 2,600 passengers aboard Disney’s Magic ship became sick with stomachaches, vomiting and diarrhea on a three-day Bahamas cruise, Disney officials said last week. Federal health investigators were trying to determine the cause last week. . . . Citing low attendance, organizers of Germany’s first-ever World’s Fair laid off more than 500 workers within a week after the June 1 opening day. The fair, in Hanover, ends Oct. 31. . . . Midnight rafting trips on the Nenana River, which take advantage of long Arctic days, are being offered for the first time at Alaska’s Denali National Park. Casino-boat sailings between San Diego and Rosarito Beach, Mexico, were terminated June 2, just six weeks after they began. The sailings were a joint venture between the Viejas Band of Mission Indians and Florida-based Commodore Holdings Ltd. Officials cited low bookings and problems with disembarkation facilities in Mexico.
