A Westminster man was shot to death in front of customers at a shopping mall in San Bernardino Friday afternoon, police said.
Richard Mendez, 28, was pronounced dead at a hospital after the attack at 2:30 p.m. in a public area of the Inland Center mall, Sgt. Ernie Lemos said.
Mendez was shot during an argument, and the gunman fled with two other men in a car that was parked near the mall, police said.
The cause of the argument was not immediately determined.
